This baseball cap is designed to appear identical to a normal hat while concealing a NIJ II flexible liner capable of stopping incoming pistol rounds.

The cap has a specially designed concealed ballistic liner that provides full coverage and protection from pistol rounds for the front, back, sides and top of the wearer's head.

Unlike other ballistic baseball caps that only have protection in the front, this cap has a fully armored integrated liner that protects the wearer's head from all angles.

With it's comfortable fit and discrete design you can wear this anywhere you would normally wear a cap without anyone knowing you've got armor on.

Without armor insert hat is non armored.

WHAT IS SPALLING?

Spalling (or fragmentation) in ballistic armor is when a round strikes a piece of hard armor and breaks apart sending bullet shards flying in random directions.

Spalling also describes when a piece of armor shatters on impact and pieces of the armor are driven into the wearer's body by the kinetic energy of the bullet.

Due to its extremely long molecular bonds UHMWPE distributes impact forces better than fiberglass, ceramic, or steel and is vastly more resistant to both spalling and shattering when struck by a projectile.
